Now that the holiday season is behind us, and all the stocking stuffer candy is gone, it’s time to get back into the swing of things. Hop back on the treadmill and deflate from the holiday feasting. One way we’re helping ourselves, without sacrificing, is switching to Progresso® Light – and you know me, the New England Clam Chowder is right in my wheelhouse! First, lets make a quick batch of buttery, garlic monkey bread! Find the printable recipe below.
Garlic Monkey Bread Recipe
First we’ll gather our ingredients; two cans of crescent pastries, butter, garlic cloves, rosemary, thyme, Parmesan cheese, and mozzarella cheese. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Begin by mixing together melted butter, thyme, rosemary and garlic (see printable recipe below).
Roll out pastry and pinch together to make one sheet. Using a pizza cutter, slice pastry into roughly 1½” squares.
Once your pastry is cut into pieces, roll each piece into a ball, approximately 1 inch in diameter.
Dunk each piece into the butter mixture and arrange in a greased 9×9 glass baking pan. I use cooking spray to grease mine – there’s plenty of butter already!
Bake until golden brown. Remove from oven.
Pour remaining butter mixture over top of the bread and sprinkle with Parmesan and mozzarella cheese. Return to oven to melt cheese.
