Football season is winding down and the countdown to the big game has begun! Today we’re sharing a party punch recipe, delicious Red Baron Classic Crust Pepperoni pizza and our favorite, Edwards Cookies and Creme frozen pie. This is the perfect trio to serve at your football party! Who are you rooting for? We know who we’re rooting for here, and you know I have a great game day recipe for you to share at your party, too!
Football Party Punch & Pie
I’m making an easy punch recipe and sharing pizza and pie with family and friends for our football game celebrations! My fantasy football line up hasn’t been doing very well this year, but nevertheless, we still have actual, real life football to keep us going!
One of my favorite things to do is experiment with punch, because really – you can’t mess it up. Remember being a kid and going to a football party, the table was lined with different soda or juice, and you’d combine a bunch of them together to make a “graveyard”? Maybe you called it something different, but we called it a graveyard. It was fun, and usually pretty tasty! …usually!
Now that we’re all grown up and have our wits about us (or at least some of us do) and our taste buds know what’s good, and what combinations go well together, we can make our own football punch out of what we have in our pantry!
This punch is as simple as it sounds, one part of each – orange juice, pineapple juice, lemon lime soda, and then just a splash of cranberry juice to give it a deeper color. Okay, so I add a bit more pineapple juice than one part. I think this gives it a little extra zing. See the full recipe below.
Football Party Fruit Punch
To assemble, I add ice, orange slices, and pineapple to the pitcher, then pour everything on top and stir. You can serve in a pitcher or punch bowl, either will work great for your football party.
Football Pizza Party
Now onto the food. While I Was at Walmart shopping for punch ingredients, I was thinking about a good idea for quick and easy food to serve at a football watch party. I decided on Red Baron Classic Crust Pepperoni Pizza and Edwards Cookies and Creme Frozen Pie. Simple and tasty!
Since today is about the big football game, we’ll get right to it. Just like our holiday gift exchange party, we’re serving up delicious Red Baron Pizza. This time we’re having Red Baron Classic Crust Pepperoni pizza!
I’m going to cut our Red Baron Classic Crust Pepperoni pizza “party style”. To cut your pizza party style, make 3 or 4 cuts in one direction straight across the pizza, and then one or two cuts in the other direction. You end up with nearly rectangle pieces, which are less floppy than the triangle pieces, therefore easier for guests to eat. Plus, it’s easier to get more pieces out of your pizza this way!
Football Party Dessert
For dessert, we’re having an Edwards Cookies and Creme Pie – delish! For some added fun, I’m adding some football flag picks to the pie! Everyone loves a little fun, right?
I hope I was able to inspire you to have an awesome football party with your family and friends. I know we’re going to enjoy the big game at our house!
