What is cloud computing? The “Cloud” is becoming more popular, and you may even use it with your Kindle Fire or other device. It’s important you understand what it is and how it works. It’s a fairly simple concept, Cloud Computing is a term used to describe how a service is delivered. Rather than stored locally on the user’s device, the cloud stores user’s hardware and software and allows the user to access the information remotely. This means it does not use your computer (or devices) internal hardware to hold the file – it uses an external cloud (usually owned and operated by a 3rd party) to store the files.
