Egg Roll Desserts Recipe
We’ll jump right into the recipe here with our ingredients. We’ll need Honey Bunches of Oats Honey Roasted cereal, a couple of apples (peeled and chopped into small chunks), melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and egg roll wrappers. Get the printable recipe below.
Whisk together brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter in a bowl.
Lay out the egg roll wrappers and fill with Honey Bunches of Oats Honey Roasted cereal and apples. A heaping tablespoon of apples and a heaping tablespoon of Honey Bunches of Oats Honey Roasted cereal will be good for each egg roll. Drizzle the butter mixture onto the apples and cereal with a spoon; about 1/2 tbs per egg roll.
Roll your egg rolls. At a 45 degree angle, roll one corner up, fold two corners in, finish rolling the egg roll.
Place the egg rolls on a parchment lined or non-stick baking sheet. Brush the tops of each egg roll with the butter mixture.
Bake in the oven as instructed in the recipe below, they will be nice and golden brown when they’re done, move to cooling rack and allow to cool for 10-15 minutes.
Finally, dust your egg rolls with powdered confectioners sugar and serve with chocolate and caramel dipping sauce (chop sticks optional!)
