Let’s talk about something interesting – The History Of The Garage! Garage? Yes, it’s an every day convenience but not something we think about often. Here in New England most houses don’t have garages – This is because a lot of New England homes were built way back in the day before automobiles existed or were available and affordable for the every day family. There are carriage houses – but those were primarily seen in the homes of wealthy families. Never the less, most of the newer homes built do have garages (you can see the national statistics below) – and it sure saves a lot of trouble during our winter snow season!
