5 Layer Tortilla Chip Dip Recipe
Lets get started with this 5 layer tortilla chip dip recipe. It’s easy to make, just hit your local Walmart and pick up the ingredients. For game time I waste no time making everything from scratch. I find it just as good to use store-bought guacamole and salsa, but make fresh guac and fresh homemade salsa if you wish.
Ingredients:
- Tortilla Chips
- Salsa
- Guacamole
- Sour Cream
- Taco Seasoning
- Shredded Cheese
Instructions:
I’ve chosen to put my dip in mini trifle dishes, this way each person gets their own dip cup – they can double dip if they want! Layer the dip from bottom to top.
The first layer is a mix of sour cream and taco seasoning.
Next, well add a layer of guacamole.
Our next layer is shredded cheese, I chose a Mexican cheese mix.
On top of the cheese layer, we’ll now add a layer of salsa.
Finally top your dip with a big dollop of sour cream.
It’s a real simple recipe to toss together on game day, and your guests are sure to love it! Simple, easy and perfect for football homegating!
